Trik Seting Internet Super Cepat

Bagi sobat yang memakai internet pas2an bisa memakai trik ini agar lebih nyaman dan lebih cepat dalam melakukan browsing, caranya kita hanya melakukan seting pada media browsing (Mozilla Firefox) :

Ketik “about:config” tanpa tanda kutip pada halaman firefox,
kalau ada peringatan silahkan klik “I’ll be carefull, I promise!”
kemudian cari preferences dengan nama:

1. network.http.pipelining => Diganti menjadi Value True

2. network.http.proxy.pipelining => Diganti menjadi Value True

3. network.http.pipelining.maxrequests => Diganti menjadi Value 30

4. Klik kanan pada sembarang bagian putih
dari layar config lalu pilih New -> Integer ->
Beri nama “nglayout.initialpaint.delay” isi dengan value 0 (nol)

5. Klik kanan pada sembarang bagian putih
dari layar config lalu pilih New -> Integer ->
Beri nama “browser.cache.memory.capacity” isi
dengan value 16384 (artinya hanya 16MB RAM yang akan di pakai firefox)

Memperbaiki missing or corrupt c:\windows\system32\drivers\ntfs.sys

Ada beberapa masalah yang menyebabkan computer tidak bisa atau gagal booting pada windows xp, seperti missing ntldr, hal.dll is corrupt or missing, dan Missing or corrupt c:\windows\system32\drivers\ntfs.sys. Untuk computer gagal booting dikarenakan missing atau corrupt ntfs.sys ini biasanya disebabkan oleh harddisk telah diconvert dari FAT32 ke NTFS, dan selama proses conversi, file ntfs.sys ini tercorrupt.

Untuk mengatasi Missing or corrupt c:\windows\system32\drivers\ntfs.sys ini dapat dilakukan dengan mengcopy file ntfs.sys dari cd windows xp ke system
caranya adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Atur BIOS / CMOS Setting agar booting menggunakan CDrom
2. Masukkan CD Windows XP anda ke CDrom.
3. Ketika muncul perintah “press any key to boot from the CD”, tekan salah satu tombol di keyboard (tombol apa saja)
4. Setelah muncul Windows XP setup menu tekan tombol "R" di keyboard untuk memilih to repair a windows XP installation using Recovery Console.
   
   
5. Pilih windows yang terinstall dengan menekan tombol "1" ( Jika windows yang terinstall hanya satu) kemudian tekan enter.
6. Jika diminta memasukkan password administrator, masukkan password administrator dan tekan enter (Jika tidak ada passwordnya langsung saja tekan enter).
7. Copy file ntfs.sys dari CDrom ke system windows anda dengan cara memberikan perintah seperti dibawah ini :
   
   copy x:\i386\ntfs.sys c:\windows\system32\drivers
   
   catatan: x pada kalimat diatas adalah nama drive cdrom dikomputer.Setiap computer bisa berbeda-beda. Jika cdrom dikomputer anda berada pada drive D, maka penulisannya menjadi copy D:\i386\ntfs.sys c:\windows\system32\drivers
8. Jika file ntfs.sys telah ada dikomputer, maka akan ada pertanyaan apakah tetap akan mencopy file tersebut, tekan saja tombol Y untuk ya kemudian tekan enter
9. Untuk keluar dari jendela recovery console, ketikkan EXIT kemudian tekan enter
10. Setelah file ntfs.sys selesai dicopy ke file system, ambil cd windows anda dan restart computer. (Atur kembali agar windows booting melalui harddisk)

Cara mencegah user mengganti desktop background

Bagi user, tampilan wallpaper/gambar desktop merupakan salah satu hal yang sangat diperhatikan. Desktop background atau gambar wallpaper yang unik dan bagus bisa menjadikan user lebih senang berhadapan dengan komputer. Setiap orang sebagai pengguna komputer tentu mempunyai rasa kesenangan yang berbeda-beda mengenai desktop background ini. Banyak sekali blog atau website yang menyediakan link download wallpaper atau gambar untuk dijadikan desktop background yang unik-unik, sehingga akan memudahkan user untuk mengganti gambar desktop yang disukainya. Namun kadang sebagian user malah lebih senang dengan tampilan minimalis yaitu tanpa gambar sama sekali.

Cara mengganti gambar atau wallpaper desktop background yang biasa dilakukan adalah dengan klik kanan pada desktop kemudian pilih Properties. Pada jendela display properties, pilih tab desktop kemudian pilih salah satu pilihan gambar yang ada atau cari gambar lain di file dengan klik browse. Atur posisinya kemudian klik OK. Maka wallpaper akan berubah dan telah diganti.

Desktop background yang telah terpasang sesuai dengan selera dan keinginan ini, pada waktu dan kesempatan yang lain bisa saja berubah. Ya ...... berubah wallpapernya karena diganti oleh user lain. Tentu saja hal ini sangat menjengkelkan. Untuk mencegah user lain merubah tampilan desktop background bisa dilakukan dengan cara :

Untuk pengguna windows xp

1. Tekan tombol window + R (untuk membuka menu run)
2. Ketik gpedit.msc kemudian tekan enter (untuk masuk ke jendela group policy editor)
3. Masuk ke User Configuration > Administrative templates > Control Panel > Display
4. Pada panel sebelah kanan, klik ganda pada prevent changing wallpaper
   
   
5. Ubah menjadi enable
6. Klik OK
7. Log off atau restart komputer

Untuk pengguna windows 7

1. Tekan tombol window + R (untuk membuka menu run)
2. Ketik gpedit.msc kemudian tekan enter (untuk masuk ke jendela group policy editor)
3. Masuk ke User Configuration > Administrative templates > Control Panel > Personalization
4. Pada panel sebelah kanan, klik ganda pada prevent changing desktop background
5. Ubah menjadi enable klik OK
   
   
6. Mungkin diperlukan enable desktop wallpaper pada User Configuration > Administrative templates > desktop > desktop
7. Klik OK
8. Log off atau restart komputer

Setelah pengaturan diatas, user tidak bisa lagi untuk mengganti wallpaper atau desktop background. Tab desktop pada display properties akan menjadi tidak aktif, sehingga tidak bisa memilih gambar untuk desktop. Mereka akan berfikir “Desktop background atau wallpaper tidak bisa diganti”.
